Morgan Wallen and Lainey Wilson lead the field of nominees at the 58th Annual Country Music Association Awards.

Via the year's biggest song, Wallen's seven-time nominated success does come with a caveat.

His duet with country newcomer Post Malone has four nominations for Single of the Year, Song of the Year, Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year.

Wallen is also one of two artists with multiple nominations in the same category.

Wallen's Musical Event of the Year nods for his duets "I Had Some Help" and Eric Church pairing for "Man Made A Bar" join Cody Johnson's two Music Video and Song of the Year nominations for his Dustin Haney-directed clips for "Dirt Cheap" and "The Painter," plus for both song's writers Josh Phillips and the trio of Benjy Davis, Kat Higgins and Ryan Larkins, respectively.

Who could be the 2024 CMA Awards Entertainer of the Year?

The night's most prestigious prize of Entertainer of the Year?

That will pit 2021 and 2022's winner, Luke Combs, 2023's winner, Wilson and first-time nominee Jelly Roll against Chris Stapleton (the honor's most nominated non-winner, now at eight times) and now three-time overall Entertainer of the Year nominee Wallen.

2023's breakout winner, Wilson, follows up 2023 as the year's most nominated female artist with four nominations, including her second nomination for Entertainer of the Year, third nomination for Female Vocalist, a Single of the Year nod for "Watermelon Moonshine" and a Music Video of the Year nod for the Patrick Tracy-directed video for "Wildflowers and Wild Horses." At present, Wilson's career total of nominations is now 19.

Also of note is that Megan Moroney and Kacey Musgraves each secured three nominations, while 2024 "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" hitmaker Shaboozey is nominated for Single of the Year and Best New Artist.

And yes, equally noteworthy, country sales chart queen and 32-time Grammy winner Beyoncé was nominated for zero awards.

Tickets for the 58th Annual CMA Awards go on sale on Sept. 13 starting at 10 a.m. CT via Ticketmaster.
